Maximum techniques are some of the most powerful abilities in the world of JJK. Simply put, these are extension techniques that grant the user the ability to bring out the maximum potential of their innate technique. In other words, maximum techniques are the strongest power that a Jujutsu Sorcerer has, aside from domain expansion.

These techniques are incredibly dangerous and fans have already seen them quite a few times in the story.

These techniques are strong enough to cause utter devastation, and if used correctly, they can certainly prove to be a massive ace up one’s sleeve. While there are likely many users of maximum techniques in JJK, fans have not been made aware of many users of this power just yet. That said, those who have shown this power are all overpowered.

3 Eso

  • Cursed Technique: Rot Technique
  • Maximum Technique: Maximum: Wing King

Eso and Kechizu appeared in the first season of JJK and they certainly made quite a mark. Being two of the Cursed Womb Death Paintings, these were incredibly powerful figures whose abilities were on the same level as the special grades of the JJK world. Both Eso and Kechizu possessed the curse technique of the Rot Technique. This Rot Technique gave their blood poisonous and corrosive properties, and along with that, the power to manipulate blood at will.

Eso and Kechizu were certainly not the strongest of the Cursed Womb Death Paintings, however, they were still impressive, especially Eso. In the case of Eso, he could bring out the maximum power of his Rot Technique by using the Maximum: Wing King ability, which was his Maximum Technique. Using this power, he could create wings of blood from his back and this made him incredibly agile as well as mobile and combat. Furthermore, he could also manipulate them as he liked and attacked his enemies with them. Defending against this technique proved to be incredibly challenging for anyone he was up against. The only downside of this problem was that while he was utilizing the Maximum: Wing King, he could not make use of the Rot Technique at the same time.

2 Jogo

  • Cursed Technique: Disaster Flames
  • Maximum Technique: Maximum: Meteor

Jogo was one of the three Disaster Curses who fans saw for a significant portion of the JJK series. He was introduced quite early into the series and he tested his powers against Gojo. Unfortunately for Jogo, he was absolutely no match for him. That certainly doesn’t mean that he wasn’t strong, however. From the Disaster Curses, Jogo was the second strongest after Mahito and he even earned the praise of Ryomen Sukuna, which is nothing short of incredible.

These Ancient sorcerers were so powerful that they are still remembered as some of the best to have ever lived.

His cursed technique, called Disaster Flames, gave him pyrokinetic abilities that were nearly unmatched. With his Domain Expansion, he got a sure-hit attack that could incinerate nearly anyone in a moment. Jogo also possessed a powerful Maximum Technique, called Maximum: Meteor. This technique was, as the name suggests, a powerful ability that allowed him to summon a meteor using his cursed technique and cause utter devastation. In fact, the destructive power of ability was such that it could level an entire city, which just goes to show what level Jogo was manipulating his ability on.

1 Suguru Geto

  • Cursed Technique: Cursed Spirit Manipulation
  • Maximum Technique: Maximum: Uzumaki

One of the Special Grade Sorcerers who was once the best friend of Gojo Satoru, Suguru had trained his cursed technique immensely. Although he died, his body was taken over by Kenjaku who, ever since then, has been in possession of all his abilities. Under Kenjaku, Suguru has proven to be quite an incredibly powerful adversary for the heroes. As fans know, he possesses the innate technique of Cursed Spirit Manipulation and this allows him to manipulate curses after consuming them following their defeat, or if the difference in strength between him and the curse is simply too vast.

The epitome of the Cursed Spirit Manipulation technique is the Maximum Technique: Uzumaki. This is an incredibly powerful technique that Kenjaku made use of towards the end of the Shibuya arc. Essentially, every curse that was in his possession was made use of when he tapped into the power of this technique and they were all combined into one entity. Kenjaku was then able to hit his targets with a beam of super concentrated curded energy, and quite clearly, it was one of the most incredible techniques that fans have seen in the series. The damage that this technique would cause was certainly extraordinary. It is also interesting to know that when Grade 1 Curses and above are utilized in this process, that cursed techniques are extracted and this allows Kenjaku to make use of them even if they are used for the curse energy beam through Uzumaki.
