It’s been a solid day for Call of Duty fans, as the franchise also just detailed its Season 3 Reloaded update that will bring new content to Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile on May 1. This content includes new maps and modes for MW3‘s Multiplayer, missions and schematics for MW3‘s Zombies, a killstreak for Warzone, the Golden Week for Warzone Mobile, and a lot more. Call of Duty Releases New MW3 and Warzone Updates for April 23

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone receive new updates that fix bugs and introduce minor improvements along with another Ranked Play change.

As usual, Modern Warfare 3‘s Vi.Rus Mainframe event requires players to earn a large amount of XP to unlock its final reward, 548,500 to be exact. This final reward is the previously mentioned Binary Mortality animated camo that features red, yellow, and black streaks that constantly flow toward the top of a user’s weapon. While progressing towards the reward, users will unlock 11 others, including two XP tokens, a battle pass tier skip, two calling cards, one emblem, one charm, two stickers, and two decals. Users looking to complete the event faster who are willing to fork over 2,400 CoD Points can purchase the new Horsemen Vi.Rus Ultra Skin Tracer Pack, which includes the Bacillus skin that can be equipped to earn bonus XP while the event is live. Call of Duty also re-added the Vortex Mosh Pit playlist alongside the event, but XP earned in any playlist counts towards the event’s rewards.

All Rewards In Modern Warfare 3’s Vi.Rus Mainframe Event

  • Loadout weapon sticker
  • Point and Click decal
  • Pop-Up, Pop-Off emblem
  • Going Viral decal
  • Got Hacked calling card
  • Block Fly charm
  • Sneakin’ In sticker
  • Error Code calling card
  • Double weapon XP token, double battle pass XP token, and battle pass tier skip
  • Binary Mortality animated camo

The Binary Mortality camo immediately garnered a positive reception after it was revealed, as not every Modern Warfare 3 event features a final reward as flashy as this one. Call of Duty recently added another flashy new item, a dinosaur skin that’s pretty wild, although users won’t be able to earn it for free.

Although the Binary Mortality camo is impressive, it certainly doesn’t beat a recently released Call of Duty Mobile weapon skin that raises the bar for paid cosmetics within the franchise. After inspecting the CoD Mobile skin, a miniature battle plays out on top of the weapon that’s reminiscent of a Hollywood action sequence.

Once the Vi.Rus Mainframe event concludes on May 8, Call of Duty‘s U Assist Veterans Challenge event begins as the next step in Call of Duty‘s long history of supporting veterans. Not much is known about the event yet, but more information is set to be shared on May 6.
