Once Human: All Lucky Cat Locations

Exploring the many places of interest in Once Human often leads to a nice horde of loot and, in some cases, interesting interactions with the world’s weird denizens. If you’re exploring Chalk Peak, then you may have had a Lucky Cat statue call out to you.

These Lucky Cats aren’t just for show. They may not be tied to any side quests, but if you want some free loot and EXP to help you level up faster in Once Human, then you might want to find them all. Here are the locations of all four Lucky Cats to spare you the trouble of searching for them.

Once Human Lucky Cat – Believer Colony

If you’ve followed the Cultist’s Treasure Map in Once Human, you likely would have encountered this Lucky Cat along the way. You can find it in Believer Colony far to the west of Tall Grass Inn. It’s inside the tallest building in the camp. Clear out the Vultures, and speak with the statue.

The cat will start spouting some nonsense about Stardust and ask you to bring it some items. Exhaust its dialogue, and if it refuses to talk to you, just keep interacting with it until the item submission screen shows up. Give it any food item you have in your inventory, and it’ll give you a Cat’s Treasure Fragment.

Once Human Lucky Cat – Paisley Plaza

Paisley Plaza is a small place of interest just north of Tall Grass Inn. It’s roughly 300 meters away from the regional safe zone. You can find the Lucky Cat on the front porch of the red house behind the hospital.

This cat won’t ask you to do anything. Just keep talking to it, and it will eventually give you a Cat’s Treasure Fragment.

Once Human Lucky Cat – Mining Town

This cat is found further west of the Believer Colony, just past the Monolith of Thirst where you fight Once Human’s Shadow Hound boss. Follow the road up the mountain until you reach the town, then look for the BNMart, which should be the first building on your left if you’re approaching from the main road. Go behind the store and climb up the broken truck. The cat will be visible from there.

Like the one in Paisley Plaza, this cat will outright give you its Cat’s Treasure Fragment just by talking to it.

Once Human Lucky Cat – Brewery Estate

The final Lucky Cat is all the way up north at the Brewery Estate. From the nearby Teleportation Tower, head straight toward the large mansion’s front door, then turn right. The cat is inside that room.

Upon collecting all four Cat’s Treasure Fragments, they’ll meld together and automatically form the Fortune Cat’s map, which will point you to the final location of this scavenger hunt.

Fortune Cat’s Map Location

The map will point you toward the Boss’ Playground, a Vulture stronghold just south of the Brewery Estate and west of the nearby Teleportation Tower. This place will be swarming with bandits — if your level isn’t high enough to take them all head-on, use one of Once Human’s sniper rifles to pick them off from a safe distance.

What you’re looking for is a loot crate deep inside the bandit base. You can find it inside the two-storey wooden house by the western end, right above the bunker entrance. Open the loot crate to get some Energy Links, EXP, Stellar Planula, and a level 2 Eclipse Cortex.
