Persona 3 Reload: Isolated Castle Weakness (How to Beat)

In order to continue through Tartarus, you’ll need to take on powerful bosses on each border floor in Persona 3 Reload. This includes an enemy like the Isolated Castle, a giant, imposing boss that is standing in the way of your further exploration of the upper floors of the Tziah Block.

Although the Isolated Castle boss is intimidating at first, there are a few methods you can take advantage of to knock down the enemy easily. For those who are looking for a bit of help and some strategies they can use for this battle, this guide will go over everything you need to know.

Where to Find Isolated Castle

The Isolated Castle boss can only be found on one border floor in Tartarus, located within the Tziah Block. You’ll specifically find it on Floor 143, and the boss will be blocking off the path to continue forward. This means you will have to battle Isolated Castle if you want to move on.

This boss is completely on its own, similar to previous bosses in the game, like the Priestess. This will make it easier to focus critical hits on the boss and knock it down, allowing you and your team to perform an All-Out Attack.

Isolated Castle Weakness in Persona 3 Reload

Once you’ve found the Isolated Castle boss, here are its weaknesses and resistances to pay attention to:

• Null: Fire, Ice, Electric, Wind, Light, Dark
• Neutral: Slash, Strike, Pierce

The only attacks you’ll be able to land on the Isolated Castle boss are Physical skills, including Slash, Strike, and Pierce. Any Magic skills will completely be blocked, so you’ll want to avoid using any of these attacks on the enemy. For some characters who will be the main focus for dealing damage, you can bring along Aigis or Junpei, who both focus mostly on Physical attacks. Aigis can use Cruel Attack, while Junpei can use Gigantic Fist or Assault Drive.

As for additional party members, the Isolated Castle uses an ability to raise its Attack damage, so you’ll want to bring someone who can debuff the enemy and buff your team. Aigis can buff the team’s Attack and Defense, while Akihiko Sanada can decrease the Isolated Castle’s Attack with the Matarunda skill. Since Fuuka will always be on your team, you can also use her skill, Sylphid Aura, which buffs the team’s Attack, Defense, and Accuracy/Evasion for the next battle.

If you have the skill Rebellion on any of your party members, this can increase one team member’s Critical Rate for 3 turns, making it easier for Aigis or Junpei to deal critical damage to the Isolated Castle, allowing you to do an All-Out Attack. Since you might not have a lot of characters with healing abilities, remember to bring along some recovery consumables as well to protect the team.
