A new Pokemon GO update has reportedly brought back the ball throwing the issue and makes Pokemon much more aggressive, making it extremely difficult to catch them. In the past, whenever there was an update that other players have had issues with, others usually avoided downloading it altogether. However, this is a mandatory update, so players will need to download it to continue playing Pokemon GO.

Pokemon GO players have been quite unhappy lately with the number of bugs that have been affecting the game. The Avatar update caused a lot of controversy due to the visual changes it brought, but what made things worse was the plethora of other issues that came along with it. In fact, a research study even stated that Pokemon GO was the buggiest popular game. While a lot of these issues were resolved lately, it seems like a new bug has emerged.

Unlucky Pokemon GO Players Get Stuck on New Special Research Task

Pokemon GO launches a new Special Research, but some players find themselves stuck because of a key detail related to one of the tasks.

Commenting on a post about the new Pokemon GO update on the Silph Road subreddit, user lxpb highlights an annoying issue that they have been facing. Apparently, the update has brought back the Poke Ball throwing issue, which makes it harder for players to land excellent throws in Pokemon GO. Notably, that’s not the only issue that players have been facing, as others added that Pokemon also seem to be more aggressive after the update. One user highlights that regular Pokemon are attacking as often as Shadow Pokemon.

Poke Ball Throw Bug Preventing Pokemon GO Players From Completing Research Tasks

Another player highlights that the repercussions of this issue seem to extend beyond just catching Pokemon. One of the tasks requires them to make a few great throws in a row, and the increased aggression of the Pokemon seems to be making the task unusually difficult. They add that 90 CP Digletts have been uncannily jumping up and down, which decreases the margin for error while catching them. Considering that such tasks are also required for the ongoing Ultra Unlock Part 1: Better Together event in Pokemon GO, getting the lucrative rewards might get quite tricky for the players.

The Poke Ball throwing issue was lingering in the game for a long time before it was finally addressed a few weeks back. The first instance of the issue arose back in May, with players complaining of Poke Ball resetting to its original position and throws glitching out in Pokemon GO. With some really exciting events on the radar for Pokemon GO, fans would be hoping that the issue is resolved at the earliest.
