Spring 2024 Anime Lineup: Where To Watch Every Series

The Spring 2024 anime lineup has been revealed, and the season is stacked with goodies. While some genres and demographics always receive more attention than others, this quarter covers most of the fundamental categories, including a few that tend to be ignored. For instance, Spring 2024 has multiple sports and racing anime, perhaps making up for Winter 2024’s lack of options. There are also plenty of action, isekai, comedy, slice of life, and romance stories, which are generally always a given.

As always, the Spring 2024 anime schedule is split across multiple platforms, with Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, and Hulu all having a couple of exclusives. Consequently, if someone wishes to consume every 2024 anime release, they will need to pick up a few subscriptions. Alternatively, people can just focus on the one service that covers most of the shows they want to watch. Let’s take a look at where every Spring 2024 anime will be airing.

Crunchyroll Spring 2024 Anime Lineup

Black Butler, KonoSuba, Kaiju No. 8, & More

Unsurprisingly, Crunchyroll has the biggest selection of Spring 2024 anime, and the platform has yet to announce its full lineup. Even if, somehow, no other series were announced, Crunchyroll would already have a strong selection thanks to returning juggernauts like KonoSuba, Black Butler, Date a Live, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, and Laid-Back Camp. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will also be returning for its third season, and the isekai anime looks set to retain the high standard of quality established by its two predecessors. Demon Slayer season 4 will also debut in May 2024.

When it comes to new Spring 2024 anime, Crunchyroll has a few notable names, including Kaiju No. 8, Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf, A Condition Called Love, and Wind Breaker. That selection should expand within the coming days as the service still has plenty of free spots that need to be filled in by other series. Even in the unlikely that no more Spring 2024 anime are announced, Crunchyroll already has a solid lineup.

Crunchyroll Winter 2024 Anime Dub Lineup (English & Hindi)

As always, Crunchyroll has also announced its dubs for the season, with quite a few anime receiving English versions (along with other languages). While many viewers prefer subs, dubs provide viable and valuable alternatives, and the work put into them should be respected.

The wide range of languages adopted by Crunchyroll not only highlights the streaming platform’s international presence but also emphasizes anime’s global reach in this day and age. Once upon a time, dubs were limited to a handful of major shonen properties; nowadays, there are far more options available, and most of them tend to be quite good.

HIDIVE Spring 2024 Anime Lineup

Jellyfish Can’t Swim & Whisper Me A Love Song

HIDIVE has no hope of matching Crunchyroll’s quantity, but the service occasionally targets niche properties that benefit from its more flexible restrictions. At the moment, none of HIDIVE’s Spring 2024 anime particularly fit that bill, although Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night and Whisper Me a Love Song both look good. Urusei Yatsura is also one of the few Winter 2024 shows set to continue for a second cour.

Netflix & Hulu Spring 2024 Anime Lineup (& Maybe Other Platforms)

The Fable, Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, & More

Perhaps frustratingly to some, Hulu and Netflix tend to receive a handful of anime exclusives per season. Spring 2024 is no exception, and Hulu has one of the season’s bigger newcomers in the form of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Based on a manga by Negi Haruba, who wrote The Quintessential Quintuplets, the superhero anime could surprise a lot of people who might not be familiar with the shonen source material.

Netflix will continue to air new episodes of Delicious in Dungeon, which is a two-cour season; more importantly, the service has announced a couple of new Spring 2024 anime. The Grimm Variations appears to offer alternate takes on Grimm’s Fairy Tales, with the trailer previewing the different stories that will be tackled throughout the season. It is a neat concept that should be a lot of fun. T.P BON is a bit harder to pin down as the preview does not paint a clear picture of what the show will contain; however, it appears to be a time-travel story that follows two kids as they visit different eras on missions. Sort of like an anime version of Doctor Who or DC Legends of Tomorrow​​​​​.

Spring 2024 Anime With No Streaming Platforms

Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, & More

Without exception, every season includes a few anime that never come to Western streaming platforms. There are various reasons this could happen, although some series are just a bit too niche to warrant a standard release outside of Japan.

Currently, there are a lot of Spring 2024 anime without homes, including massive names like My Hero Academia. This series will almost certainly be available once they start airing episodes, especially since its previous seasons are readily available across multiple platforms; however, until they are officially announced, they will remain in this section. Otherwise, the remaining unassigned anime are new names, which are less of a guarantee for Western releases. Still, A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics, Mysterious Disappearances, and The New Gate seem like the type of shows that will ultimately make their way to streaming services.
