Destiny 2: Vouchsafe God Rolls (& How to Get Them)

Vouchsafe was one of the weapons introduced in Destiny 2‘s Forsaken DLC, along with a host of other Awoken-themed guns and armor. In Season of the Wish, its perk pool got refreshed, making it significantly more valuable than before.

While there are a lot of other Scout Rifles in Destiny 2 for players to hunt down, Vouchsafe has since become a very good option when it comes to PvE. It’s not that hard to get one, and if you’re lucky enough, you may even get a god roll that can compete with meta options. Here are a couple of Vouchsafe god rolls as well as some tips on how to farm for it.

Best Vouchsafe Perk Rolls

Vouchsafe is a Void Lightweight Scout Rifle with a solid perk pool for PvE, which is where this category of weapon usually shines. With an effective range of up to ~70 meters at base, it can easily plink away at distant targets without suffering from damage falloff. This can be further improved with Explosive Payload, which basically grants the weapon unlimited range by splitting its damage in two (one normal hit and one harder-hitting explosive hit that disregards range restrictions). Lightweight Scout Rifles don’t hit as hard as its slower-firing counterparts, but they are still capable of dealing worthy DPS in high-difficulty content against common red and yellow-bar enemies from a distance.

Rapid Hit complements Explosive Payload by significantly improving reload times while also granting bonus Stability when the perk is fully stacked. Pairing a reload perk and damage perk together is the general rule of thumb when it comes to PvE god rolls, and this also applies to Vouchsafe. Of course, there are exceptions to this.

The Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds combo is excellent for clearing large groups and boosting survivability in PvE. Since Destabilizing Rounds inflicts the Volatile debuff, it can constantly feed Repulsor Brace, which will constantly grant Void Overshields. These perks work even without using a Void subclass, making this god roll very versatile.

How to Get Vouchsafe

Vouchsafe exclusively drops in activities inside the Dreaming City. Some of the best ways to get this Scout Rifle include:

• Completing Bounties and Challenges that reward Legendary gear
• Finishing Blind Well Runs
• Doing the Shattered Throne dungeon
• Participating in Dreaming City-related Seasonal activities

In Season of the Wish, the best way to get Dreaming City weapons is to complete full runs of The Coil while smashing every pot and opening every hidden chest. If players manage to get a Platinum score, they’ll gain access to a secret room at the end of the run that’s full of additional loot chests.
