Fusing Personas is one of the best parts of Persona 3 Reload. Using this method in the Velvet Room can allow you to take Personas and bring them together to create an even stronger entity, made even more powerful through Social Links. There are many different combinations you can create, including one of the best end-game Personas, Messiah.

To fuse this Persona, there will be a few prerequisites you’ll have to meet, including reaching a certain point in the main story. This is one of the best Personas you can get, with no weaknesses and powerful abilities. If you’re wondering how you can fuse Messiah, here’s what you’ll need to do.

Persona 3 Reload: How to Start the Monk Social Link

The Unusual Monk, Mutatsu, can be hard to find, but it’s worth it to activate one of the rare evening Social Links of Persona 3 Reload.

The first and main thing you will need to do to be able to unlock Messiah is max out the Judgement Social Link. To unlock this Social Link, you’ll first need to max out the Fool Social Link. This is the initial Social Link you receive when joining the S.E.E.S group.

The Fool Social Link naturally progresses as you go through Tartarus. Overall, though, there is one choice you will have to make on December 31 to fully complete the Fool Social Link: whether or not to let Ryoji live. This option will be given to you twice, and you will want to spare him both times. Afterward, you’ll unlock the Judgement Social Link.

To progressively raise your Judgement Social Link rank, all you will need to do is continuously visit the upper levels of Tartarus. This includes:

  • Rank 1-2: Reach Floor 215
  • Rank 2-3: Reach Floor 220
  • Rank 3-4: Reach Floor 224
  • Rank 4-5: Reach Floor 228
  • Rank 5-6: Reach Floor 236
  • Rank 6-7: Reach Floor 240
  • Rank 7-8: Reach Floor 244
  • Rank 8-9: Reach Floor 252
  • Rank 9-10: Reach Floor 254

After you’ve fully completed the Judgement Social Link, you will also need to make sure that the main character is at least at
Level 91
to be able to fuse Messiah.

How to Fuse Messiah in Persona 3 Reload

To fuse Messiah, you will want to visit the Velvet Room, the location where you can cash in on completed requests for Elizabeth, and choose ‘Simple Fusion’, the first option. Messiah will require the following two Personas:

  • Orpheus (Fool)
  • Thanatos (Death)

Orpheus is the first Persona you get, so you shouldn’t have a problem obtaining this one. If you have already fused it to another Persona, however, you can make Orpheus in the Velvet Room by fusing Slime and Legion, or use Summon to get Orpheus for a fee. As for Thanatos, this one is a bit more intricate.

Thanatos will require a Special Fusion, where you’ll need all six of the following Personas:

  • Pisaca (Death)
  • Pale Rider (Death)
  • Loa (Death)
  • Samael (Death)
  • Mot (Death)
  • Alice (Death)

It will most likely take some time to obtain all of these. Pale Rider and Alice can also be created through Special Fusion, where you can find the required Personas for it by visiting the Special Fusion section in the Velvet Room. As for the other Personas, here’s how you can create them:

  • Loa: Tam Lin + Mitra or Tam Lin + Neko Shogun
  • Mot: Succubus + Thunderbird or Grimekhala + Lachesis
  • Pisaca: Nigi Mitama + Pixie or Nigi Mitama + Silky
  • Samael: Queen Medb + Seiryu or Saki Mitama + Genbu
